Girls in IT - Zealand has been to a remarkable evening at #Lego_Copenhagen where we were divided into groups according to our #career interest and we started the fun by building our hobby out of legos. and don't underestimate the power that striking up a conversation with a stranger while chopping vegetables can bring! Thanks to your encouragement, trust, and vision, I was able to apply my creative skills and passion to produce this fun and quirky illustrated world ☺️įind the animations under the “Gifts” section in the MobilePay app and spread some cheer and good laughs with the next money gift you send 🥳 Many thanks to Peter for believing in me that day chopping vegetables together, as well as, the rest of the incredibly kind and supportive team (especially Dennis Kvade and Benedicte Helverskau) that I was fortunate to work with.
To my friends outside of Denmark, MobilePay is essentially the Venmo equivalent of the region - so quite a dream project to work on as almost everyone you meet here uses this app! ✨ The project consisted of creating animations to be used within the app that all tie into the theme of celebrations in our daily lives.
After showing my work to his team at MobilePay, Peter invited me to work on the first artist collaboration. While chopping vegetables alongside Peter Gregersen, we talked and he quickly found out that I was an illustrator. Back in September, I volunteered at the Design Matters DK conference in Copenhagen and found myself at a Korean Kimchi making workshop.
